        Paul studied voice under the tutelage of former Dean Ramon G. Acoymo, PhD and received his Bachelor of Music degree in Voice (Cum Laude) from the University of the Philippines-College of Music in 2006. He performed in recitals and different opera productions in the Philippines. Among the roles he has portrayed were: Dottore Malatesta in G. Donizetti's Don Pasquale, The Father in E. Humperdink's Hansel and Gretel, Uberto in G. Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona, Reverend Olin Blitch in C. Floyd’s Susannah, Ben in G.C. Menotti’s The Telephone and Marcello in G. Puccini’s La Bohème.

        Before pursuing Music, Paul graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (Cum Laude) from Christ the King Mission Seminary, Quezon City, Philippines in 1995 and he was a degree candidate in Master of Arts major in Psychology with Child and Family Development as his concentration from the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines. Currently, Paul is a seminarian of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) and is taking his Master of Divinity degree at the Catholic Theological Union at Chicago.
